Campus placement · Accenture

Accenture communication assessment practiceWhat the round contains, as prep sites report it — and a 5-minute check in the order placement rounds use.

  • About 5 minutes
  • 4 read-aloud + 6 repeat
  • 6 grammar and vocabulary questions
  • Four readings as bands
  • No sign-up to get a result

Prep sites describe Accenture's communication assessment with the same six kinds of task — reading, listening or repeating, short answers, jumbled sentences, story retelling and an opinion — but disagree on its length, on whether reading and listening are spoken or multiple choice, and on whether it eliminates.

Scoryee's 5-minute communication round check practises the spoken parts it can score — 4 read-alouds, 6 repeats and one opinion of up to 45 seconds — with 6 tapped grammar and vocabulary questions, and reports four readings as bands rather than a company's score.

What Accenture's communication assessment is reported to contain

What prep sites, candidates and test makers had reported as of 5 October 2026. Read it as a report, not a rule: patterns change between batches, and no company publishes an official cut-off.

What is reported

  • Six sections, 63 questions: reading 8, listening and repeating 16, questions and answers 24, jumbled sentences 10, story retelling 3 (30 seconds each) and opinions 2 (60 seconds each), with a 20–30-second window per answer and no second attempt — FACE Prep.
  • Accenture's own platform, neither SVAR nor Versant, placed first, before the cognitive test — FACE Prep.
  • Evaluated on sentence mastery, vocabulary, fluency and pronunciation — placementpreparation.io and PrepInsta.

Where sources disagree

placementpreparation.io describes 20 mixed questions in 20 minutes, with reading and listening as multiple choice, and PrepInsta “20–25 questions” in 30 minutes; both say the round does not eliminate, where FACE Prep calls it the first gate. One low-view video describes a version that adds email writing.

What the check covers of Accenture's communication assessment

The round's parts as its sources report them, and how much of each the 5-minute check practises.

  • Read aloudPractised
  • Repeat sentencesPractised
  • Sentence buildsPartly
  • Short answersNot in this check
  • Story retellingNot in this check
  • Opinion or free speechPartly

Practised: the check has the same task. Partly: a near relative — built by tapping rather than spoken, or one answer where the round asks for several.

The 5-minute communication round check

  1. Read aloud

    4× · up to 20 s each

Read a sentence on screen at your normal speed.

  2. Repeat

    6× · up to 15 s each

Hear a sentence once, then say it back exactly.

  3. Quick questions

    6× · tapped, no timer

Grammar and vocabulary, answered by tapping.

  4. Your opinion

    1× · up to 45 s

Answer one question in your own words.

The result is the round's four readings — pronunciation, fluency, sentence mastery and vocabulary — each placed in a band: strong, close or needs work. Your weakest reading comes with the evidence from what you said, and three things to fix.

The check reports no company's score and cannot say whether you would pass.

What the check's result looks like

The round's four readings, each placed in a band, and the weakest named — with no score and no CEFR level, because five minutes is too short for a number to mean much.

Frequently asked questions

What score do I need to pass Accenture's communication assessment?

Not published by Accenture. Scoryee does not convert its result to any company's scale, so it cannot say whether you would pass.

Do the sources agree on Accenture's communication assessment?

placementpreparation.io describes 20 mixed questions in 20 minutes, with reading and listening as multiple choice, and PrepInsta “20–25 questions” in 30 minutes; both say the round does not eliminate, where FACE Prep calls it the first gate. One low-view video describes a version that adds email writing.

Is the communication assessment the same as the Versant test?

Not always. Prep sites describe Cognizant's and Accenture's rounds in the Versant English Test's layout, but neither company says which engine it uses, FACE Prep calls Accenture's platform its own, and rounds at Capgemini and in some Wipro hiring have been reported as SHL's SVAR. Read “Versant-style” as a description of the task types, not of the test you will sit.

Are Scoryee's check and level test free?

Your first communication round check and your first full level test are free, with no card. The free plan also includes 10 spoken practice answers a week. More checks, retakes and the full review of every answer come with the Scoryee Pass: in India, one payment of ₹249 for 30 days, by UPI or card. The Pass also removes the weekly practice limit. It never renews, and you can get a refund within 14 days.

Do I need an account?

No. You can take the whole test as a visitor — no email, no password — and see your result before signing up for anything. A visitor's results live in that one browser, so make a free account afterwards to keep them; everything carries over.

What do I need to take the test?

A phone or a computer with a microphone, a quiet room, and an up-to-date browser such as Chrome or Safari. Browsers built into apps like LINE, Threads, Instagram or Facebook often block the microphone, so open the page in your phone's own browser first.
